Two Other Employees Promoted to VP Status
Greensboro, NC – July 17, 2008 – Premier Commercial Bank announced today that James J. Harris has joined the bank as Executive Vice President, Senior Lender and Market Manager. Mr. Harris’ primary role will be to develop commercial banking relationships, as well as manage the business development function for the Bank in Greensboro.
Mr. Harris is a Greensboro native and a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill. He has nearly 20 years of professional experience in the banking arena, most recently as Senior Vice President, Senior Commercial Loan Officer for Bank of North Carolina. He joined Bank of North Carolina in 2006 after it acquired SterlingSouth Bank & Trust Company, where he had worked since its inception in 2000.
Prior to SterlingSouth, Mr. Harris was Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer for First Citizens Bank in Greensboro. Mr. Harris began his banking career at Bank of America in 1986, where he served as branch manager in Raleigh and at the Four Seasons office in Greensboro. He later served in Bank of America’s Commercial Real Estate Banking Group and its Business Banking Group, both also in Greensboro.
Mr. Harris’ current community involvement includes serving on the advisory board of the Salvation Army of Greensboro and as a member of the Crescent Rotary club. He is a Past President of Crescent Rotary and a former Board Chair of Downtown Greensboro, Inc. He also previously served on the Advisory Council of the Salvation Army Boys and Girls Clubs of Greensboro.
Premier Commercial Bank also announced two executive promotions. Debbi Stemple was promoted to Vice President in the roles of Executive Assistant and Human Resources Officer. Sherry Stewart was promoted to Vice President in the role of Controller.
