Al Garvey joined Premier Commercial Bank in 2011 as Senior Vice President and Senior Lender. His primary role at Premier is to develop and maintain commercial banking relationships in the Triad.

Al, a Greensboro native, is a 1984 graduate of Hampden-Sydney College, with a BS in Managerial Economics. He also earned his MBA from Wake Forest in 1988 as well as an advanced banking degree from the LSU School of Banking in 2000. Prior to joining Premier, Al served as the Greensboro Market President for Community One Bank, since 2003. Prior to that, he was the Guilford County Commercial Real Estate Manager for CCB.

Al is a Leadership Greensboro graduate and has served on several community boards during his banking career. He is currently an active Rotarian in the Summit Rotary Club and serves on the Executive Board of the Page Alumni Association.
