Frank Gavigan brings more than 28 years of commercial banking experience to his position as Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Premier Commercial Bank.

Prior to joining Premier, Frank served for 15 years as the Senior Credit Officer for 1st State Bank in Burlington, where he managed the bank’s loan portfolio. From 1984 to 1990, he worked for First Union National Bank in High Point, serving as a Commercial Lending Officer and then as the office’s Commercial Banking Manager.

Frank graduated in 1980 with honors and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of Virginia. He also earned his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business in 1984. He has served on the board of the North Carolina Bankers Association’s Community Investment Corporation of the Carolinas, as well as numerous community non-profits and service organizations.
