Ed Swing is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Premier Commercial Bank. Ed began his community banking career in 1999 with 1st State Bank (now Capital Bank) in Burlington, North Carolina as its Vice President for Finance. From 2000 until February 2006, Ed served as the Chief Financial Officer for Alamance Bank in Graham, North Carolina, and, until joining Premier, served as Chief Financial Officer for Carolina Commerce Bank in Gastonia, North Carolina and KeySource Commercial Bank in Durham, North Carolina.

Prior to entering banking, Ed served as Vice President of Finance for First Greensboro Home Equity from 1996 to 1998 and was an Audit Manager for KPMG, LLC in Greensboro, North Carolina. He served as an Alderman for the Town of Elon, located in Alamance County, North Carolina from 2001 to 2007. Ed received his BA degree from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in December of 1982.
